Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access and use by you (“User”, “you”, “your”) of the Platform (defined below) provided by Hireo Recruitment & Placement Services Private Limited (“Hireo”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company incorporated under the laws of India, having its registered and operational office at:

By accessing or using the Platform or Services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform or Services.

For avoidance of doubt, these Terms apply to all services offered by Hireo.

This document is an electronic record under the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and does not require any physical or digital signature.

  1. Definitions

1.1 “Additional Terms and Conditions” shall mean any guidelines, additional terms, policies, or disclaimers made available or issued by us, any third party or Affiliate from time to time in relation to the respective Service.

1.2 “Affiliate(s)” shall mean group companies, affiliates, associates, and/or subsidiaries of Hireo.

1.3 “Applicable Law(s)” means any statute, law, regulation, ordinance, rule, judgment, notification, order, decree, by-law, permit, licences, approvals, consents, authorisations, government approvals, directives, guidelines, requirements, or other governmental restrictions, or any similar form of a decision of, or determination by, or any interpretation, policy or administration, having the force of the law of any of the foregoing, by any Authority, whether in effect as on the date of you agreeing to be bound by these Terms or at any time thereafter.

1.4 “Authority” shall mean any judicial, quasi-judicial, governmental authority, statutory authority, regulatory authority, government department, agency, commission, board, rule or regulation-making entity or authority having or purporting to have jurisdiction over you or us, or other subdivision thereof to the extent that the rules, regulations, standards, requirements, procedures, or orders of such authority, body, or organisation have the force of any Applicable Law or any court or tribunal having jurisdiction.

1.5 “Mobile Application” shall mean ‘Hireojobs’ – mobile application owned and operated by Hireo.

1.6 “Services” shall have the same meaning as ascribed to it under Clause 3 of these Terms.

1.7 “Platform” shall mean the Mobile Application and Website.

1.8 “Website” shall mean the website owned and operated by Hireo available at https://Hireo.org/.


2. Nature of Services

Hireo provides recruitment, placement assistance, career support, and hiring solutions. We act solely as an intermediary between job seekers and employers. We do not act as an employer or guarantee employment outcomes.


3. User Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements. By using our services, you confirm that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete.


4. User Registration & Information Accuracy

Users may be required to provide personal and professional information. You agree to maintain accuracy and update information as required. Submission of false or misleading information may lead to suspension or termination.


5. Candidate Responsibilities

Candidates must:

  • Provide accurate details and documents
  • Attend scheduled interviews
  • Maintain professional conduct
  • Avoid misrepresentation

Any misconduct may result in disqualification or account suspension.


6. Employer Responsibilities

Employers agree to:

  • Provide genuine job opportunities
  • Share accurate job descriptions and salary details
  • Comply with labor laws

Fraudulent or misleading job postings are strictly prohibited.


7. Fees & Charges

Certain services may involve fees. All charges will be clearly communicated in advance. Fees are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.


8. No Placement Guarantee

Hireo does not guarantee:

  • Job placement
  • Interview success
  • Salary or job role

We only facilitate connections between candidates and employers.


9. Payment Terms

All payments must be made through approved channels. Hireo reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. GST or applicable taxes will be charged as per Indian laws.


10. Refund Policy Reference

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In general, fees once paid are non-refundable except in exceptional cases.


11. Data Privacy & Security

User data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We take reasonable measures to protect personal information but cannot guarantee absolute security.


12. Third-Party Interaction

Hireo may connect users with third-party employers or platforms. We are not responsible for actions, behavior, or policies of third parties.


13. Limitation of Liability

Hireo shall not be liable for:

  • Employment disputes
  • Salary issues
  • Job loss or termination
  • Fraudulent employer activity

Users engage at their own risk.


14. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Submit false information
  • Engage in fraud or illegal activity
  • Abuse or misuse the platform
  • Violate applicable laws

Violation may lead to permanent termination.


15. Intellectual Property

All content on the website including logos, text, design, and materials are the property of Hireo and protected by applicable laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.


16. Service Suspension or Termination

Hireo reserves the right to suspend or terminate user access without notice if Terms are violated or misuse is detected.


17. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of services implies acceptance of revised Terms.


18. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hireo from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from misuse of services or violation of Terms.


19. Communication Consent

By using our services, you consent to receive communications via phone, SMS, email, or WhatsApp regarding job updates, services, and promotions.


20. Force Majeure

Hireo shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond control such as natural disasters, strikes, technical failures, or government actions.


21. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Haryana, India.


22. GST & Legal Compliance

All services are subject to applicable Indian tax laws. GST will be charged where applicable and proper invoices will be issued for all paid services.


23. Disclaimer Reference

Use of services is also subject to our Disclaimer. Hireo does not guarantee employment or hiring outcomes.


24. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between users and Hireo regarding the use of services and supersede all prior agreements.
